1#1 PETE -

#1 Plastic Bottles - ie:water, pop, ketchup, juice, syrup, salad dressing, peanut butter, cooking oil, syrup.

2#2 HDPE - 



#2 Plastic Bottles - ie: shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, liquid laundry detergent, spray cleaners, bleach bottles,
white milk jugs - no bottled petroleum products.

Carrier bags and bin liners.

APR recycle LDPE packaging, moulding, bottle and baled waste.

Polypropylene

PP

Margarine tubs, microwaveable meal trays.

APR recycle PP bottles, mouldings, sheet and baled waste.

Polystyrene

PS

Yoghurt pots, foam meat or fish trays, hamburger boxes and egg cartons, vending cups, plastic cutlery, protective packaging for electronic goods and toys.

APR recycle PS in all forms, containers, mouldings, packaging and sheet.

OTHER

OTHER

Any other plastics that do not fall into any of the above categories. An example is melamine, which is often used in plastic plates and cups.

APR recycle other many other types of plastics such as nylon, PC, ABS and more.






Plastic Bottles – 3 Rs:

1. Remove all lids and caps
2. Rinse
3. Reduce the size (stomp on it)


* Please separate and place recyclable items in the designated bins – (notice the number on the bottom of plastic bottles). Seperation is easiest if done at home.
